Together, the IDSA Foundation and HIVMA want your support to save HIV Funding

Save HIV Funding was launched in 2023 by PrEP4All, AVAC, and HIVMA to push back on cuts to federal funding for HIV programs. The campaign has grown to more than 150 organizations and stopped nearly $2 billion in cuts in federal funding for HIV programs in fiscal year 2026. We are gearing up to again mobilize to respond to threats to federal HIV programs in the coming year.
The campaign brings together national groups, community organizations, clinicians, researchers, and people living with or vulnerable to HIV. It’s a simple, accessible way for advocates to plug in, stay informed, and take coordinated action. The campaign will exist only as long as these threats remain, but right now the stakes couldn’t be higher.
Cuts to federal HIV programs like we are seeing in Florida’s AIDS Drug Assistance Program will cost lives, increase infections, and weaken public health at every level. We need every voice, every partner, to help stop them.
Join us. Speak out. Push Congress to maintain and grow funding for federal HIV prevention, care, and research funding.
